booking and cancelling
In general
Fertile Ground is a very small and intimate practice. Prompt payment and reasonable notification of cancellation is really important for me to be able to efficiently run the business
As appointment slots are limited please bear in mind that someone else may like your appointment if you can’t make it – especially if I’m coming to your home which takes more time than clinic sessions.
Arriving on time
Please allow plenty time to get to the clinic, or be ready when I get there if I’m seeing you at home. Time is always in short supply and I have to respect everyone’s appointment.
If you are late, I can only give you the balance of your appointment slot and if you are very late, sadly, ir may not be possible to treat you.
If you are coming for the first tine, allow yourself an extra 10 minutes or so, so you can fill in your patient details, use the loo, have a glass of water, and be calm and relaxed before your session.
Forms of payment
I can currently accept payment by cash, cheque, bank transfer and Paypal. I will soon be able to take credit card payments.
Payment should be made at the time of your treatment, including those covered by your private health insurance policy. I can provide you with a receipt with appropriate details for you to recover your payment,, but don’t deal direct with the insurer myself.
Cancellations
I need 24 hours notice if you have to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. This allows me time to offer you slot to someone else and to manage the re-booking.
It would be helpful if you could give me 36 hours notice for home visits as they are effectively a double slot and take more re-arranging…
A clear 24 hours is the bare minimum for cancellations and I’m afraid I will have to charge you a fee if you give me less notice, to cover my costs.
